Eva Forejtová

After graduating from the State Conservatory in Prague in 1994 in the field of operatic singing, Eva Forejtova accepted her first regular engagement as a soloist with the Prague Chamber Opera, where she performed roles in the Mozart repertoire. In succeeding years she performed the role of the Vixen in Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen with the Municipal Theater in Usti nad Labem. In 1998 she placed third in the Emma Destinova Competition in Ceske Budijovice. In Mozart’s Don Giovanni she performed the role of Donna Anna in Prague’s Estates Theater during the 2000 and 2001 seasons in the Opera Mozart production. Another activity of hers is concert singing; besides performing songs her repertoire includes many oratorios and cantatas.
